In the previous section we placed the top and extended the edges 1 inch beyond the crown molding. Now we will attempt to cut a ½ inch radius cove on the bottom edge of the top. Start by drawing an arc at one end up ½ inch from the bottom, and the other ½ inch in from the corner. Use guide marks if necessary. The view below is from the upper rear of the book case.
We will now use the follow me tool to drag the cove around the bottom edge. I tried this several ways and the easiest method I found was to hide all the other parts to gain an unobstructed view of the bottom of the book case top. You can now drag the cove around three edges of the top. This tool is important in drawing sophisticated looking drawings. You should practice until you are comfortable using it

When complete the picture should be something like the one below.
Now restore (unhide) the other parts and your drawing should look like the one below
The last thing we want to do to this case is to apply some baseboard around the bottom edge. I have confidence that you can do this on your own. I will give you a picture below of the baseboard and let you draw it and apply it to the bookcase. This baseboard is 3/8 inch thick a simple round-over at the top and 2 inches high. If you have problems with the base board please post your questions.
That is it for tutorial three thanks for following along.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi George,
I wrestled with the Follow-Me tool for the top and bottom molding. I couldn't get it done by hiding everything except the entity I was working on. What I did find was that by using the View>>Face Style>>X-Ray, I was able to trace the complete circumfrance using the Follow-Me tool.
Again, thanks for your effort.
Mike
