This is section two. If you got through the first one this will be a snap.
Now that we have the leg components placed, we now do the same for the apron boards.
First orient the table as shown below, get the rectangle tool and click on the guide mark you made in the last step. Draw a rectangle ¾ inch by 19 ½ inches. The rectangle should be ¼ inch from the table edge. If the two legs are positioned properly the rectangle will reach the other leg. The picture should look like the one below.
Now make it into a component. Using the select tool draw a box around the apron board to select it. With the board selected click the component tool, type apron into the name box and click create.
We will now follow a series of steps very similar to placing the legs in the last section. First click on the apron board to select it. Then get the move tool, press and release the control key, and click on the upper left corner of the apron board. now move the copy to the guide mark on the leg to the left. See the picture below.
Now with the rotate tool click the guide mark on the leg to which you just moved the board. (You may have to zoom in to be sure you are on the guide mark) (See picture below)
Now rotate the board 90 degrees clockwise and it should be in position. The bottom of the table should now look like the picture below.
Now follow the same procedure until all four boards have been copied and rotated into place. The bottom of the table should now look like the picture below.
Now that the legs and the apron have been properly placed we can now pull out the table top to the final size. Use the orbit tool and orient the picture so that the edge of the top is visible. Right click on the edge of the top and select edit component. Using the push pull tool click on the edge and pull it out ¼ of an inch or just enter ¼ in the little box and hit enter. Now using orbit rotate the picture so that you can see the next edge. The top component should still be open. You can now just double click with the push pull tool to pull the edge out the same amount. Continue until all four edges have been pulled out ¼ inch. The top is now 24 x24 inches.
The table should look like the picture above.
That is it for this section, save the table.
