Gazebo ?

[ Edited ]

It has been quiet over here lately, so I just thought I would share a current project.  I know it is not a gazebo but I'm not sure what you would call it.  It will be a structure near a croquet court where people can sit on lawn chairs and watch a game. And perhaps partake in a bloody Mary or a glass of wine.

What would you call it?

Re: Gazebo ?

Good morning George and Happy Easter.

I am here in Corpus Christi, Texas and they have two similar structures in the courtyard.  They call them pavilions.

Re: Gazebo ?

Happy easter to you Fred,

I should have mentioned this is only 10' x 20', Seems a bit small to call it a pavilion.

Re: Gazebo ?

Without the shingled roof I would have called it a pergola, but with the roof I guess it would be called a roofed shelter.

Re: Gazebo ?

In the Southwest, the name is "Ramada".  Not sure what happens to it East of the Mississip.
