candy dish

[ Edited ]

Heres a spalted pecan and peach candy dish i made this weekend. It's 6 1/2" x 5" with a 4" finial. Wish i had a better contrast of woods.:smileysad: Also the top was made of a small (thin) crotch piece of wood, so didn't have a lot to work with.

All comments welcome as always.

Re: candy dish

Gerald thanks. No the stem is part of the main dish.

"Wish i had a better contrast of woods."

Beautiful!  I think the wood, itself, provides plenty of contrast in this case.

Re: candy dish

That is a nice looking candy dish. Where did you get that large spalted chunk of wood from ? All I see advertised is small chunks.
