New turning smock

This is my new turning smock.  No more cleaning shaving off.  Of course I'm not allowed in the house and can't get too close to the heater.  shavings-jacket.jpg

John, That's funny!  How did you get all that to stick?

Re: New turning smock

That's great John!:smileyvery-happy:

I have been there and done that. It's not a matter of how to make it all stick but how to get it all off when you are done. It is a pretty funny thing when I go in to take a shower after a day of turning and find shavings in my shorts, socks and belly button.

The only time I have any hair on my bald head is after I turn something on the lathe.

Re: New turning smock

William   This was a joke I was doing.  I had a fleece jacket that got full of shavings and I was asking how to get it clean. Someone suggested I just let it build up to keep me warmer.  I bought this shirt and then sprayed it with 3Msuper77 spray adhesive and stuck shavings to it.  I laughed the whole time I did it and boy were the neighbors looking at me funny.

none in hair or collar....?  that's simple; wearing proper protective gear!

I understand the joke....just use your safety gear..
