been doin a lot of searchin and cant find what i'm lookin for. between me and a good friend we have a lot of the supplies to build a b.s. mill and the metal working tools, along with ( what we hope to be) quite a bit of experience and knowledge to do the job. we arent lookin for plans that would use axle shafts and tires for the wheels. any help would be greatly appreciated. been searchin for quite a while online and my mind is a bit fried.

These are pretty simple machines, we built one a few years ago, worked well.
We never did have a set of plans, made a few sketches based on a unit we liked and took some basic dimensions. After that it was check the junk heap and get to building.
We drove it with a 12HP 3ph electric mtr. Had a separate 3HP 1 ph 240V Elec/Hyd system.
We sold the unit, as far as I know it is still used regularly.

Check out Linnlumber.com also cookssaw.com has some good parts for the guides. I also really like the simplicity of the hudson guides. I've abandoned my homebuilt bandsaw project but I have 2 sets of legit bandsaw wheels (one 18" cast iron set with rubber tires and a drive shaft and one 16" cast aluminum set off of a DoAll bandsaw) that I'd be willing to part with if you need parts. You may want to strongly consider buying one used, there are some cheap hud-sons and timberkings out there. I gave up because my dad bought a TK 1220 and there are a lot of features that would take a long time to fab. I have a slew of links that I've accumulated over the abandoned project, email me at rph816@yahoo.com if you have any more questions or want the links.
