handyman john wrote:Russ, what size did you get? I see they sell "direct to you" on line and have a 1 gal that only weighs 25 lbs. $149 seems a bit high but the max pressure is 150 psi, higher than many small compressors.
John, mine is the 1 gal. When I bought it, it was on sale for $99. I'll bet if you search you might find it for $129. I bought mine @ BigR if you have those.

I bought the small DeWalt that came with a brad nailer and a finish nailer when I built the new kitchen. It works great and did not break the bank.

Recieved the small Dewalt compressor Drummerboy suggested. Boy is it QUIET! (sorry) Boy is it quiet!
And best of all I can carry it without loosing a limb. Once Amazon got the card infor right (my fault not theirs) it was here in 5 days.
The unit is very compact and the surface is FLAT meaning when you carry it you don't catch your leg on everything. The bleed valve on the bottom is easy to use and will last longer than the typical "petcock" that most use.
Thanks for the suggestion drummerboy. I am pleased.
