Removing rust from saw blades

I picked up some 24" blades to hang on the wall of my shop (they won't fit in my table saw), but they have a lot of rust on them. What's the best and quickest way to get most of the rust off and then what might be a good finish, if any, to apply on them before hanging?

Electrolysis and clear lacquer...

this would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
if only new layers hadn't been added....

Stick...

Re: Removing rust from saw blades

Wood did a good job of showing how to use electrolysis. I had just viewed it before reading this.

rockler sells a kit for cleaning saw blades and router bits and you can reuse the chemicals by putting back into the container
