Gimme Five with the Shop Monkey - Wipe on, wipe off Shop Monkey-san

Remember, Iggy the trained shop monkey is part CHIMP, not a CHUMP. Here's what our simian friend has come up with...
The top five reasons to use a wipe on finish:
- No runs, no drips, no errors. The thinned finish flows easily and leaves a much nicer surface with no brush marks or sags.
- Thinned finish dries faster than thicker brush-on finishes, leaving less time for dust, crud and monkey fur to land on the drying varnish.
- The application process will give you lots of time to practice that back rub technique you wanted to try out on your spouse.
- Rags are cheap... high quality brushes to apply a finish cost money you could be spending on more lumber.
- By using solvents, varnishes and oils, you can custom blend your finish at home to suit your particular needs instead of relying on a manufacturer to hit the exact mix.
