I thought Wichman got it right, so I didn't reply...

As a kid, goosberries came from the woods around the Blue Earth River on my uncles farm...my aunt made the best sour-cream goosberry pie!!!  As an adult, I can only remember having goosberry pie two times.  Thanks for the memories.
