MIND BENDER for 18 NOV 09

[ Edited ]

Good Morning Friends,

Well this morning it is raining cats and dogs as I stepped in a poodle when I went out to get the wet paper that is drying all over the floor.

Most of us have done our end of the growing season for this year and due to the economy some have canned and frozen fruits and vegetables to use during the winter, however there are still some hardy items that haven't completed their growth for the year.

How many things that you can think of that are still in the fields or gardens that still need to be taken care of?

Remember to keep your hands no closer to a spinning blade or bit than 6" for safety sake.

Respectfully,

Snow peas and frozen strawberries?

There is a moose out there that is supposed to be in my freezer.

I like to think he is just putting on a little more weight.

If you stepped in a "poodle," you should be scraping the bottom of your shoe :smileyvery-happy:

John and I think alike.  I couldn't read the rest of the message due to out loud laughter at the thought of stepping in a poodle.  I love it when typos get funny!

No typo..

Ole Ralphie has a warped mind like mine.  When you get as old as we are, you'll try anything.

Good Morning All, I am pleased that you liked my poodle story as I have used it to the point that every time I go into the hardware store after or during a hard rain, they will say, "did you step in any poodles today? Now for the Mind Bender we still have tomatoes on the vine next to the patio goor where my wife must have tossed out some tomatoe seeds as one volunteered to grow and is just full of green tomatoes. I am alergic to them but she likes green fried tomatoes. Also there are both pumpkins and cantelope in the fields that have not been brought in yet in our area not to count the flowering cabbage.
