Yup, the seams of the insulation are getting taped, the job looks really good so far. I'd call this a case of knowing when I'm not qualified and am letting the pro's do the work. Besides: I'm not a fan of ladders on the best of days, just climbing them with nothing in my hands. Add in materials and tools and... well, I'm not up for that.
Interior spaces? Yeah, I'll generally tackle them without a lot of fuss. Done plenty of interior framing, rocking, mudding and taping and finish carpentry. But usually that's in a 7'-9" room. I can handle that! *grin*
Other than the bedroom we haven't put the window treatments back up yet. And the rooms are a LOT warmer with just bare windows than they used to be with the single pane windows and heavy draperies. It bodes well for winter time. And yeah, we'll qualify for the full boat on the $1500 tax credit.
I'll spank along some finished pix when the job's done in a day or three. They had to quit just after lunch yesterday and couldn't work all day today due to heavy rain. I hear it'll be dry tomorrow.
(Another note to self: more hammer pounding at 7:45AM. Oh joy!)
