We painted (two coats) our garage floor about two months ago and the paint has started and continues to peel daily. We see paint slithers in the house and in the driveway and yard.
- Is there away I can remedy this?
- What would be the best way to get the paint off the floor so I can start again?
- What recommendations should I follow before trying again?
I suspect the floor did not have a vapor barrier.
Regards, Jim

Most garage floors don't have vapor barriers. I would "guess" the problem is dust between the paint and floor. You usually have to clean VERY well before applying a coating on concrete. I would post your question on the finishing forum and see what you get there. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Last garage floor that I painted, we spent more time acid washing and scrubbing than actual painting. BEHR garage floor paint. Still get "hot tire lift" where hot tires melt paint and pull it off. When we complained, it was pointed out by Home Depot that the paint can label warns that this will happen. Think epoxy coating is best solution.
