Need a jig to support small pieces for vertical drilling.

a little more information would be helpful..

what are we actually drilling???

is the jig actually a clamp???

what about the size? shape and material...

 

this would have been the week that I'd have finished chewing thru the restraints...
if only new layers hadn't been added....

I think I'd just use a handscrew clamp, you could screw a small peice on the jaw to act as a fence to keep the piece perfactly vertical. Clamp that, in turn, to the drill press table.
