"Apprentice: 1307, from Old French aprentiz 'someone learning', from aprendre (Modern French apprendre) 'to learn, teach,' contracted from Latin apprehendere. Aphetic form prentice was more usual in England. The verb is first attested 1631." I guess one way to look at it is when it comes to this new messaging system we are all sort of apprentices.

It does seem a bit strange to see so many veterans of this site as an apprentice..........there's something not quite right about it........especially for dudes like Sawduster & John Courtland..............It's like being a Sergeant Major & being bucked down to Private.
