WOOD MAGAZINE QUIZ for 26 OCT 09

Good Morning Friends,

Have you ever found yourself thumbing through past issues trying to find a half remembered tip?

How would you remember where the tip was or some other method of locating the tip?

Remember to keep your hands no closer to a spinning blade or bit than 6" for safety sake.

Respectfully,

Morning Ralph. The Wood Magazine Index (link on the home page on the left menu) should be an excellent starting point.

Mornin Ralph -

The index is a good place to start.  I made my own though on the computer and alphabetized it.  I don't always get them all, so if I find a new one, I take the time to write it down for next time.

Anything that looks eventually useful I scan and drop the .pdf into a computer folder.  I do the same with the tip of the day, or jigs and pics posted on the Forum.  Someday......

I keep a Excell spreadsheet named "articles of interest". One column is "keyword" which I can sort on.

Re: WOOD MAGAZINE QUIZ for 26 OCT 09

Good Morning All,

Your answers are as I suspected them to be and they are good ones however Fred Mundel of Dinsmore, Sask. Would photo copy the tips as soon as the magazine arrives, and then organize them according to the tool to which they relate and stores them in a page protector in a three ring binder..
