Thanks Dad

Here's some pictures of my 4 trophy's that Dad put into a 1.75 liter Jack Daniels bottle for me. Pics are on all four sides of the bottle and fit into a frame. My first, and only bear I harvested in Sept. 09, a 51" musky, a 47" musky, and a 45" musky. Dad made this for me around Thanksgiving time, but guess what, he dropped it, and the bottle shattered!, so he was back at it between Thanksgiving and Christmas with a new unbroken bottle, and had to make a new frame for it. I wish I had the patience for this kind of work! By the way, the frame in the bottle is about as flawless as one can make it.

OOOPPS, I put one of the pictures in twice, and can't figure out how to edit it, oh well.

Very, very impressive!  Both, the frames in the bottle, and the trophies depicted in the frames.

By way, some Dad you have there.  How'd he do that!?

Nice trophies, and great work on the bottle pics.

Re: Thanks Dad

Hey Kenny,

How did he get rid of the contents of the bottle? Pour it down the drain?

I just couldn't resist it as I used to have good old Jack a my traveling companion and some times I would bring good old Jim Beam along as well. That was thirty some years ago though.

I am also quite impressed! I would be interested in just seeing the assembly tools...as long as there are tools. If he put that together otherwise...magic...then just seeing the end result is a treat enough for me. Quite unique and a momento for always.

Re: Thanks Dad

Quite the job! Living in Northern WI make the muskies more impressive. The bears are another story when they are around the house all the time and seem to do what they want.:smileywink: I'd also like to know how he did that. Especially with four sides.
