Maple bed

[ Edited ]

King Bed.1.JPG

King Bed.2.JPG

King size Bed.  Curly Maple.  Finish recommended by Steve

TransTint dye-dark mahogany,

wet sanded BLO

varnish.

My own design.

I should add that the idea for the top rail came from an article in one of the recent FWW magazines.

Thanks for looking

Re: Maple bed

Very nice design.  Is the headboard attached to the bed r the wall?  Look as though it is floating.  Cool feature.

Re: Maple bed

The headboard is attached to the bed.  I thought about attaching it to the wall, but it would have been a pain if she wanted to rearrange her room.

Re: Maple bed

That's a mighty fine lookingt bed, Mike.

Steve's instruction went well and the grain looks very nice. Love this.
