NIce work.  Not to get off subject but how do you like your Hitachi table saw?  I have friend who is looking at one.

I bought it at Lowes a few years ago. In hindsight, I would have bought the Delta equivilant now.

Started gluing up the box sides. Will glue three sides, leaving left end until last. Then slide in box bottom and glue final side.

After that it's the legs, drawers, secret compartment, lid and accents.

The carcass is glued up. Now on to the legs and stuff. Question, has anyone tried the Lid-Stay Torsion Hinges from Rockler? I ordered a pair today. Part number #25311

Did you "flush" mount the stays? or is it a minimal gap between lid and box?

Interesting glue-up. What about the sign above and to the right of the door?

Chest feet are routed and joined.  The lid is resawed and book matched. Still need to cut lid to size and bread board the ends. The secret compartment is done, but can't get a good pic. Will try another angle later.

Lastly is the drawer, drawer bottom and side rails.
