End table finally finished

Finally got the end table done for my brother in-law an his wife. It is built out of walnut and the top is inlayed with Birdseye maple. Let me know what you think.

That looks great, especially the dovetails! Is that walnut really that light, or is it just how the picture turned out?

I'm glad to notice you went an axtra mile by creating box joints. It does add to the final project.
Great choices of wood.
What finish did you go with, might I ask?

The walnut is really about that color. I did stain it with RUDD medium walnut stain to maintain color throuought the years. The maple is natural color. I actually found a board of birdseye maple about 6" x 12' is some paint grade maple at the supplier. That is the best find I have ever made. I would guess it took about 25 hours. I took time to get it right.
