Re: Christmas Trucks

Really nice work there. The kids that get them will have a ball.

Wow! Those look great. I love all of the detail. I can really appreciate the time you have in those.

I am a great believer in luck. The harder I work, the more of it I seem to have.

Re: Christmas Trucks

Glad to see woodworkers like yourself that are giving back to society with their talents. I wonder how many other woodworkers out there  share this same interest. Perhaps if we had enough interest we could form a small clique and share ideas. One of the biggest problems that I have is coming up with different ideas that can be made in the workshop and that the kids would really enjoy. I've been doing this  for the past 10 years or so and I'm happy  to meet people that enjoy this pastime. Lets here from you.

Re: Christmas Trucks

All I want for Christmas is, a dump truck, flat bed truck, 18 wheeler, pu truck, tractor and trailer, jeep, jalopy car, and a locomotive. I will be watching for them under the tree, Doris M uh! I mean Santa.:smileyhappy:

Those will light up some young eyes for sure.

Re: Christmas Trucks

The plans are from The Woodworker's Journal Magazine, from about 20 years ago.  You can still get the Farm Tractor and Wagon Plans, #19629, but don't know about the others.  You can get their phone number from their web site.  If  the plans are not available, let me know, as I have copies of them all.

Re: Christmas Trucks

Nice job! Probably most of us should try to do more of this type thing.

Re: Christmas Trucks

Nice work on those Doris.

I don't know about the kids getting them, I know even now I would enjoy them. Lots of patience in that work.

Thanks so much for sharing them.
