Saw Files

I just bid on and won several new-to-me old Disston  hand saws. Rip and crosscut in various tpi counts.

Does anyone know of a good source for saw files?

Re: Saw Files

Tom,

A triangle file from  any hardware store will do the job.

Re: Saw Files

Would you be interested in a Foley-Belsaw automatic saw filer? It can do hand saws or circular saws up to 36" dia. Comes complete with various size triangle saws, manual, and some spare parts.

I don't do enough work anymore to justify keeping it in my shop, and I can use the space.
