Nozzle Size For Latex Paint

I have a project to spray with latex paint. Normally I just spray varnishes and poly but not paint. I know I will need a larger nozzle for my gun but what size? I will probably use my Porter Cable PSH1.  I don't want to thin the paint. Thanks guys

Re: Nozzle Size For Latex Paint

If this project is furniture... Latex is a very poor choice for paint.  It will "block" which means stick to stuff (books, lamps, vases, etc.) set on it and come off on the bottom of whatever is set on it..

Look for an Acrylic paint.. solvent based are better at staying put.

Finishing is an 'Art & a Science'. Actually, it is a process. You must understand the properties and tendencies of the finish you are using. You must know the proper steps and techniques, then you must execute them properly.

The project is an outdoor lattice which is in a protected area and not directly exposed to weather.
