I'm building some display cabinets and sheves out of old grey weathered pallets and want to maintain that look. Does anyone know how to duplicate that finish on the places that have been sawed, etc. and now have a normal wood color?

Just like the rest, in time it will look gray.

Thank you! I have been admiring the weathered furniture look I see in Restoration Hardward stores and have been trying to figure out how to get finish effect myself. I'll try your suggestion.

Try this product Driftwood Weathered Wood Finish available on Amazon or at DIYDriftwood.com website. I tried it and the results came out very nice. Gray like driftwood. Very simple to use. I wasn't able to find it anywhere except Amazon.

… the problem is in mimicking the texture. This link will take you to a post similar to yours in which both color and texture are considered…
